I have several sewing projects started, near completion, and neglected for several months. Somehow, although I love the people for whom these would-be-baby gifts are intended, I just lost enthusiasm for the tasks. Example: the babies are 19 and 12 months, respectively. Thankfully, my Creator and the Author of my faith does not lay me aside so quickly. Maybe God gets bored with me, but still He has promised to finish the good work He began in my life. I will not be discarded!
So, I am committed to finish these works too. And soon. Like before our family vacation in (gulp!) two weeks.

- Both my husband and I grew up "out in the country" but spent the first bit of our marriage living "in {a teeny little} town." When we moved into a rambly old farm house, we were thrilled to give our children the chance to experience childhood with room to run.
